50 hand-made boxes containing samples of Nizhny Novgorod were given to passengers on the 9AM Moscow bound train. The project was sponsored by the National Center for Contemporary Art, Nizhny Novgorod and CEC Artslink. and Gift, seeds spread forth, reaching many parts of Russia, Europe, and even North America. Russian parcel boxes were hand-stenciled deer which represents the city. all contained pine cones, water, soil, poetry, slogans, keys to the city, air samples, matches, chocolates, tea bags, condoms
