The Perfect Trip is the line between light and darkness.
Caleb Hickman has been playing guitar and writing his own music for over a decade. He is the founder and guitarist for The Perfect Trip.
Kahvi Zvaleko was born deep in the redwood forrest of Northern California. She spent a majority of her childhood in coffee shops with her mom, watching her play open mics, later both becoming heavily involved in the local theatre community. Her stepfather, singer-songwriter, John Ludington bought her her first guitar when she was 12 and taught her her first chords. Though she didn’t start writing her own music until about 16 years old, she always knew where she was meant to be; on stage. Intense fear of public singing plagued the young singer for years (and still does to some degree), but she knew that’s what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. At 15 she landed a solo singing role in the musical version of ‘Spring Awakening’ which all but forced her to get over the fear and just sing. After her 19th birthday, she packed up and moved to Boston, where she started going to open mics alone, playing a combination of original and cover songs. It was at one of these open mics where she met ‘The Perfect Trip’ guitar player Caleb Hickman, and the rest is history…
